25 January 2025, Paarl: Paarl Royals achieved a remarkable feat with a record-breaking win over Pretoria Capitals in tonight’s thrilling match. In a display of bowling prowess, the Royals made history by bowling all 20 overs with spinners, successfully defending a total of 140 against Pretoria Capitals.
Led by their exceptional spin attack, Paarl Royals showcased a masterclass in turning the ball and choking runs. The Spinners included Mujeeb, Wellalage, Bjorn Fortoin, Nqaba Peter and a stunning all round display from Joe Root. Joe Root followed a sensational 78 in the 1st innings with masterful death bowling
